SHOUT OUTS

Thanks to all our patrons and everyone in the Runcation Nation for all your support and encouragement ovethe last week.  We could not have made it through without you

Special thank you to our patrons, too!  We have been able to expand our studio and keep the show going over the last year and a half.   We can’t express how much it means to us.  Your support is appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.

Congratulations to everyone who ran live and virtual races this week.  Darlene ran the Yellowstone Half.  Jojo ran the Hatfield and McCoy Half.  Dawn did the Insta Runclub 5K.  Ana ran the Naperville Women’s Half.  It’s great to see all of you running live races again.  We can’t wait to do that!  We will share a preview of our live race calendar in the coming weeks.

RUN

75 Hard Challenge is still going strong!  We report on our challenge and how it has impacted our running and training.  We are resuming our Couch to 5K program this week and guess what? It is race day this week.  We give you updates on our training and how we are going to run that 5K we’ve been training for over these past 6 weeks!  Plus, what’s next?  Faster 5K? 10K?

EAT
75 Hard Challenge requires us to choose a diet and stick to it.  No cheat meals.  We talked about that on our previous episode.  We have chosen, of course, whole food plant-based.  We are featuring a local favorite this week that allows us to have a nice “lunch date” or stay on track when out and about.  UhmazeBowls is right here in Cape Coral.  Their website says it best, “UhmazeBowls proudly serves Acai Bowls, Poke Bowls, Superfood Smoothies, Pitaya Bowls, Green Bowls, Toasts, Snacks, Coffee, & Kombucha to the wonderful people of Fort Myers, Cape Coral, & Naples, FL.  This week, we talk about the Avocado Alfalfa Toast that we both had.  Very tasty!  Plus, we talk about a bowl we both had called the Garden of Eden.  We had this meal prior to our challenge so they may have been more Vegetarian than Vegan, but this week, we returned to UhmazeBowls and asked specifically for Vegan meals and they were happy to oblige!  So happy to have tasty and easy options.  Come have some with us sometime if you are in town!

DRINK

This challenge also requires us to drink a gallon of water a day. And… no alcohol!  So, we will be featuring healthy beverages during the challenge.  UhmazeBowls has them, too!  We had the PB Crunch and Basic Bee back before 75 Hard began.  So tasty.  This week, when we returned, we were so glad to hear that we could have the PB&YAY on our Vegan plan.  There is so much on their menu, no matter what your nutritional preferences that is fresh and made with  expertise and passion.  We are so happy to know that this is local place with three locations around our area, so no matter where we are in Southwest Florida, we can get a fresh and healthy meal that tastes uhmazing!

NEXT WEEK:  JOIN US FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY EPISODE!  We are celebrating and it might be delayed, but it will be awesome!
