Race Calendar
2024 UPDATE: Our race calendar is under construction, given our recent injuries, surgery, and dedication to caring for family members due to illness. As many of you know, Aimee’s dad is currently battling cancer, so with all of these factors in the mix, we have had to put our racing on hold until we can recover and resume in a healthy way. Stay tuned, and thank you for your support!!
2024 Chicago Marathon in Chicago, Illinois
Aimee originally entered the lottery and won a spot in 2019 for the 2020 running of The Chicago Marathon. Then, the pandemic put races on hold. The event organizers allowed participants to defer to one of the next three years. Ready or not, this is the last year to enter the race for her. She has decided to train and go for it after recovering from shoulder surgery, as long as all goes well! We hear it is a fast and flat course with tons of crowd support. We can’t wait to accomplish, explore, and indulge in Chicago as long as we are healed.
2024 Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend in Orlando, Florida
We will be back at the Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend because it is an anniversary we can’t miss, and of course, it is so “on brand” for us! This weekend has been going strong for 15 years, and it is the first weekend that made us passionate about running all those years ago. We know we are in to walk the 5K at least and if healing goes well, Aimee is also registered for the 10K and the half marathon. It was too tempting not to register!
2024 Miles for Moffitt in Tampa, Florida
From Moffitt Cancer Center’s website: “Miles for Moffitt is Tampa Bay’s premier community-wide movement of courage and hope, raising funds for life-saving cancer research, which is at the core of Moffitt’s mission.” As many of you know, Aimee’s dad is currently a patient at Moffitt Cancer Center, receiving cutting-edge treatment for lymphoma. We are running this race in November 2023 to show our support and appreciation. We also honor Aimee’s father with this run and hope Moffitt finds the cure someday. We will return to this race next year in 2024 and update the button here with race information once it is published. Thanks for your support.
2025 Donna Marathon Weekend in Jacksonville, Florida
This is on our race calendar every year! As many of you know, we have been ambassadors for the race weekend for the last two years, and this one is one of, if not, our all-time favorites! 5K start and finish in Jaguars Stadium?
