SHOUT OUTS

Thanks to all our patrons and everyone in the Runcation Nation for your support and encouragement.  Because of you, we have been able to keep the show going over the last two years, and now that the races are returning, we look forward to meeting up with you, too!

This weekend we remembered a loyal fan of the show who was gone too soon.  Happy birthday to Rob Nadeau.  We miss your phone calls, photos, and advice.  We are so grateful for the time we had you here.  Happy birthday in heaven to this member of the Runcation Nation.

Thanks to Cheryl Goodwin for keeping fellow runners going.  She volunteered at a race this weekend.

Congratulations to Jojo, who ran a Minion-Themed 5K in an adorable costume this past weekend!  Adorable!

Thank you to patron Dean Gerber who upgraded to the Accomplish level of support this past week.  We appreciate it, Dean!  It means so much to have many in the Runcation Nation, like you supporting us as patrons.  Your name is in lights on our website under the Accomplish level on our patron wall.  We can’t wait to see you and Judy at a race soon!

For anyone who would like a shoutout on the show, please don’t forget to send them to us.  We do our best to collect shoutouts throughout the week, but please send them our way!  Please send them to info@runeatdrink.net or call 941-677-2733!

Thank you to Joanne Blatchley and Dean Gerber, Associate Producers of our show.  Thank you to Josh Ozbirn, Executive Producer of the podcast, too!  We couldn’t do it without you.

RUN

We are two weeks away from the LIVE Inaugural Rock N Roll Clearwater Half Marathon!  This week we talk about the taper, the last long training run, strength training, hydration, and a tough thing for most of us to do at the end of the training cycle and that 4-letter word, REST.

EAT

Viet Yum is a local food truck here in Southwest Florida.  We checked out some of their new dishes while they were out at Fort Myers Brewing Company.  Their Vietnamese and Cajun heritage is evident in every tasty bite!  Get the Saigon Wings when they are on special.  You won’t be sorry.

DRINK

Fort Myers Brewing Company was recently voted 2022 Best Brewery in Southwest Florida this past summer.  We decided to go out and celebrate with them and sample their new offering, Lime to Me.  It was refreshing and delicious in this hot Florida weather.  All of their tasty brews are great to toast their accomplishment!
