RED Quick Bite #17 We're Back!
We are recovering from Hurricane Irma and getting back into a regular schedule of running, eating, and drinking.
Originally, we were supposed to have an awesome September, with an episode from the Fit Foodie Run in Clearwater and an interview from Olympic Silver Medalist and 2014 Boston Marathon Champion, Meb Keflezighi. Then, that very same week, were headed back to Boca Raton to interview someone from Barrel of Monks Brewery and run in the Sprint and Sip, from the same community organization, Levis JCC, that hosted Run, Sweat, and Beers back in July.
However, Irma had other plans for us. We will still be participating in the Fit Foodie Run, which has been rescheduled for December 2017. We will feature the Sprint and Sip on its rescheduled date in March 2018. So we have some amazing content for future episodes!
For now, it is less than 40 days from the Wine and Dine 2-Course Challenge and Infinity Gauntlet Challenge. I can’t believe it and I am so nervous. I want to be ready! So our focus in October, will be getting back to regular episodes and featuring some aspects of our Galloway Training, gear for upcoming races, our progress toward weight loss goals, and some great adult beverages (because our weight loss plan still incorporates indulgences every now and then). We may even be able to get in another 5K race before our busy schedule in November.
